Hi there! I'm Melissa, the founder of How to Fund Travel. Buckle up, because my journey to get here has been anything but ordinary.

It all started with a dream: selling everything, traveling the world, and living a location-independent life with my family. Back then, I envisioned a perfectly planned path, with courses and mentors guiding every step. (Spoiler alert: that's not how it went!)

The real turning point came in 2019. With almost no savings and no online income, we booked one-way business class tickets Singapore to Istanbul (we used frequent flyer miles). We were fuelled by faith and a burning desire to break free.

Now, over five years later, we're still living our dream. We're a family of six, living a life of freedom, travel, and financial autonomy. Through unexpected challenges and constant personal growth, we've learned a powerful lesson: fear is a terrible travel companion.
